A Whole New Look

Well hello there! It's been a hot minute since I was last active on here. But I'm so excited to be back with a passion and ready to hit the ground running.

A New Beginning

This blog started as a college project. It was somewhere I could document my college journey and tick all the boxes of what our lecturers were looking for. Over time it evolved and I was planning to use it as my business website. However, I had no idea what business I was starting or any sense of real direction.

So, this blog suffered for it and it fell to the side as I focused on my other blog, Thelifeofaglasgowgirl.co.uk. Thankfully though, I now have my direction figured out and it's time for a new beginning.

What's my direction?

I started my small business back in October of 2020. Although I felt like I had it all figured out, I soon realised I actually didn't. I was directionless. I was creating products for the sake of products and running myself into the ground doing all the wrong things. So, I took some time to figure my shizz out and really find my calling. To find where my passion lay. And that brought me back to blogging. Blogging has always been my passion and I love doing it.

My other blog has been built from nothing and I am so proud of what I've achieved in over 6 years. So, why focus my talents somewhere else when I already have a starting base? Why complicate things? I love to create content, I love to blog, I love everything it entails so I decided to just go for it.

Rebranding

Although my branding has been figured out for a while with my colour pallets and logo, this blog did not reflect that in the slightest. So, I've done a bit of a make-over and now it all fit's nicely. I love what I've achieved with it. Although I do plan on moving to wordpress next year when I upgrade my hosting plan for my other blog, I'm in love with what I've done here so far.

My plan is to keep building, to keep working on my blog and creating a space I'm proud of. I will be keeping a lot of my older posts that went along with my college stuff because I love looking back at the progression I've made, but they won't be the focus.

What next?

Well, it's time for me to start creating content that reflects what my goals are with my business. As I'm focusing on all things blogging, there will be lots of blogging tips, tricks, help and more. I want to create a space that can be useful and handy for other bloggers out there. The aim is to make this blog a sort of hub that's packed with useful and practical information to help you grow your blog.

I'll also be using my Instagram a lot more and sharing handy and helpful tips over there - Instagram.com/jordanneleecreative

My twitter will also be used a lot more to engage and connect with the blogging community - Twitter.com/JLCreate

A Huge Thank you

I just want to take a minute to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me in my journey thus far. It means the absolute world and I'm in awe of how much the blogging community have really been there for me.
